The Blohm and Voss BV-38 “Goliath” was a large flying wing transport built in the middle 1930s. Only one aircraft was known to be completed, and it was lost in Egypt on a classified mission. Powered by two Jumo J210 inverted V12 engines, the BV-38 was 40 feet long and had a wingspan of 72 feet. The transport was armed with two fixed 20mm cannon in the wings, as well as two 7.92 MG15 machine guns in a turret.

I thought they did a great job of making an aircraft that was utterly fantastic yet also completely believable. There was, however, this .

YELP REVIEW: I’ve worked extensively from this Service Manual, but must give it only one star. It’s shockingly lacking in clear instructions for Safety when working around the rotating blades during engine tuning.

I kinda wondered where in the story board process they decided they needed to create an entirely new plane for this scene.
